Project Access Workshop at Santa Rosa Junior College

Thursday, February 15, 2018 - 1:00pm to 4:15pm

The Project Access Workshop has a goal of improving existing teaching practices for deaf and hard-of-hearing students in post-secondary classrooms, with a focus on improving the inclusion of these students in classroom instruction and learning. The Project Access Workshop includes the following topics: Understanding Hearing Levels - Some Facts, The Perils of Lecturing - What Students See, and Universal Design for Learning - An Educational Environment for Everyone. There will be a student panel and snacks will be provided.
