Nation’s Governors Turn Their Attention to People with Disabilities

Disability Scoop, a premier source of developmental disability news, reports that the nation’s governors are hoping to build partnerships with companies (www.disabilityscoop.com/2013/03/11/governors-promote-employment/17467/)  to help accommodate people with disabilities. The National Governors Association (NGA) will be making recommendations in an August report with the goal of providing workers with disabilities not only a paycheck, but also a deeper sense of purpose and belonging.
