For Students: STEM Careers

Your student has many choices to make and opportunities to take advantage of while deciding on a career. The good news is that there are many resources to help your student find the right path.

Science, Technology, Engineering and Math, often referred to as STEM fields, are hot career fields right now, and high schools and colleges all are focused on encouraging students who are interested in these fields to try that path.

We have resources for you and your student in the form of web pages with samples of the types of careers your student might expect in each of these fields. In an attempt at one-stop-shopping to help your student get an idea about different careers, we have included the job description, job requirements, typical job duties, types of skills required, expected average annual income and job outlook. Hopefully this will give your student some ideas for his or her next step toward a successful future.
