An integral component of the DeafTEC outreach effort is to provide a wide variety of educational and experiential venues to teachers, students, parents, and community service providers. We recognize that for those who are responsible for planning, coordinating and/or providing these venues, some degree of understanding of what it means to be a trainer, a venue planner, and an outreach coordinator requires skills sets, knowledge, and understanding of what is required to ensure a successful event, is essential.
