This workshop, developed by NTID’s Center on Employment, is designed to help employers communicate effectively with Deaf/HH employees, and develop the sensitivity and skills for both deaf and hearing colleagues to work together.
Through hands-on activities, small group discussions and specially designed materials, Working Together presenters create a fun, comfortable and engaging atmosphere in which they cover:
- Understanding hearing loss
- Communication on the job
- Strategies to create an inclusive workplace
- Accommodations for Deaf/HH employees
